Refund policy

At Lumina Audio, we specialise in automotive sound systems and electronics. Due to the technical nature of these products, the following return and refund policy applies.

Returns (General)

- Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery (subject to inspection)
- Items must be:
  - Unused and uninstalled  
  - In original packaging with all accessories  
  - Accompanied by proof of purchase  

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

- Products that have been installed, wired, or used  
- Items with cut wires, damaged terminals, or removed seals  
- Custom or special-order items  
- Clearance or sale items  

Installation Responsibility

- All car audio products must be installed by a qualified technician
- Incorrect installation (including wrong wiring, no fuse, incorrect impedance, or overloading) will void eligibility for return or refund

Faulty or Defective Products

If a product is faulty:

- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide:
  - Clear photos/videos  
  - Description of issue  
- Product will be tested by our technical team

Outcome after testing:
- Genuine fault → Repair, replacement, or refund  
- Damage due to misuse/installation → No refund (repair quote may be provided)

Refunds

- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days
- Refunds are issued via original payment method  
- A handling/restocking fee may apply for non-defective returns  

Return Shipping

- Customer is responsible for return shipping unless item is faulty  
- Use a trackable courier service  
- Lumina Audio is not liable for lost returns  

Warranty (Car Audio Products)

- Standard warranty: 6–12 months (depending on product)  
- Covers:
  - Manufacturing defects only  

Warranty does NOT cover:
- Burnt voice coils (speakers/subwoofers)  
- Blown amplifiers due to incorrect wiring  
- Water, physical, or electrical damage  
- Overpowering or misuse  

 Important Notes

- All products are tested before dispatch  
- No refunds will be issued without inspection  
- Professional installation is strongly recommended
